Cannondale - What were they thinking?!

The flagship for their women's line (price tag of $6800) looks like this:

Which immediately reminded me of this:

Now, I know wimmin (me included) complain a lot about the choice of colors we're offered, but this one just makes my eyes bleed... or makes me want to brush my teeth.

Kinda weird to use something close to Celeste. Kind of ironic considering Barloworld rode Cannondale in 2007 and switched to Bianchi for 2008.

    I don't "Feel It"

Oh my! The first year they brought out the Synapse in WSD I got one and I think it is gorgeous. But this, this is not right to my eyes. Yep, minty fresh is a good description. The red Synapse is on the mint is really getting to me as well.

LOL! But isn't "fresh confidence" a good thing to have on a bike?

I wonder if it has a gel seat?

I did notice the Six13 for women seems to have been designed off a thread against women's bikes here. Mostly black with a hint of girly colors but not bathed in pepto.

I didn't mind the bike so much, but with the toothpaste it's hilarious.

Ick - I don't like it at all!

In fact, when I first looked at it, it reminded me of something other than toothpaste but after seeing the colgate box, I can't think of anything else now!

My first thought was, "how many times do they have to scream CANNONDALE on it?". I hate those huge logos. I spend a lot of time taking stickers and decals off of my wheels and parts. Then the toothpaste made me laugh. How perfect. Tacky advertising just like on a toothpaste box!
