    Everest Challenge...done!

    http://everestchallenge.com/

Most of the weekend is a huge blur of up and down...rinse and repeat!

Just had to say that I did it! It was HARD! I need lower gearing next year...a compact with a 27 just wasn't enough.

There was so much love out on this course...I can't count the number of times I heard "Go Brandy!!" Very well run and well supported. The volunteers were all great. The new race director (he's taking over next year) gives killer shoulder massages and the encouraging words were never lacking.

    Day 1: 9:20
Day 2: 8:?? (no official results yet, but I'm pretty sure it was under 8:15)

I am going to try to write up a full race report today, but by the time I got to South Lake (last climb day 1) I couldn't recall the details of the first climb.

Amazing. Will love to read report, at least the parts you still remember. Really--fabulous!

Great job! When you said you were training for it, I went to the site and read the gearing recommendations. I fell out of my chair laughing at the thought of what kind of ride could even have those suggestions.

Can't wait to hear your EPIC ride report. If you can't remember parts, it is probably EPIC.

    Brandy,

FANTASTIC!!! Did you ride your Cervelo? Were you wearing flip-flops?

When I grow up, I wanna climb like you!
