    I never 'get' why the bad English is supposed to be funny in these cat photos. People send them in email a lot now. The photos are cute, but what is the bad English supposed to 'represent'? Why exactly is "I can has cheeseburger?" funny, for example?
    Can someone enlighten me?

    Would you expect a cat to speak English well?

    Personally, I find them hilarious, especially when paired with the right feline facial expression. But then again, my cats have distinct personalities, and I can picture them saying some of thse silly things.

    yes, I expect that my cats are more eloquent than most politicians.

    See...now...the home page picture of the bunny in the party hat with the cheesecake..... Now that might have been (mildly) amusing if the caption were spelled correctly - given the general disapproving nature of rabbits.
    And, as you can see....rabbits are much more eloquent than cats (or dogs, I guess).

    I agree- the bunny/cheesecake photo would be funnier with normal English caption, like on the other bunny page you linked to.
