    Question about swimsuit

So...I bought one from TYR in a size 36M.

How are swimsuits supposed to fit? Snug? Tight? It felt rather tight. When I went to the store to try on the 38L, it felt the same as the M. I usually wear a size M (or between 8-10) with normal clothes, and cycling shorts and jerseys I am also a M.

Do they loosen up in the water?

Yes, the suits loosen in water and will become more loose over time too especially if you're swimming in a chlorinated pool.

I was used to fashion swimsuits before I started doing tris so the TYR I use for training felt pretty snug at first, but I got used to it and am really happy with it now.

I wear a size 4-6 in clothes and a 10-12 in swim suits. Go figure.
