    Sizing of Gore products?

Has anyone bought Gore brand tights before? I'm trying to decide which size I should be and, of course, my actual measurements are between the S and the M, and the inseam is the same in all sizes (!!!!). Any suggestions on whether I should go smaller or bigger in this brand?

    Thanks!

No experience at all with the bottoms, but fwiw I have several Gore jerseys and they seem to run quite true to size; they tend to have a very fitted cut but do not run small (or large).

I will be interested to hear what your experience is with the bottoms -- Gore has some shorts & tights that look pretty nice, online at least.

I hope this is somewhat helpful -- based on what I've read here, it seems that people have wildly different perceptions of how clothing runs based on body type -- and I'm NOT talking about size per se at all -- but, for instance, I think Castelli jerseys run true, but I have a flat chest and scrawny arms. Seems like there are a lot of people who think it runs small -- but often they are women who actually sport some cleavage (I'm jealous). I find Giordana jerseys to run small, but I am long-waisted and tallish; some people think Giordana runs true... So I don't know how helpful my lone opinion is... But good luck !

Edit: so, to relate Gore to my ramble above, Gore runs bigger and much longer than Giordana (probably a full size), and perhaps slightly more generous than the older (pre-2008) Castelli, but less than a size difference.

I don't have the tights but I have one pair of shorts and 2 jackets by Gore, and in my opinion they run true to size. Well, apart from the leg grippers being a tad tight on my not-especially hefty thighs. Or maybe they' ve gotten heftier than I thought

I find Gore runs true to American sizing.

I have their winter bibtights and the phantom jacket in XS. For reference, I wear Size XS in brands like Sugoi, Voler, Specialized, Giordana; Size S in Euro brands like Assos, Castelli, EO (tops).

I agree with the others. I don't have any GORE bottoms, but I have three tops and a jacket and all of them fit me exactly as they should. As a reference, I'm a pear with a long torso, smallish chest and big arms (how's that image?!).

Oh, and I'd also like to comment that I really like the quality of the GORE stuff I've bought and all of it has held up extremely well.
