nice write up, and if I ever have a t-time under a minute I'll do the happy dance!
It sounds like it you have plenty of good things to think about for your first season of tris, and made the most of a harder than expected day racing!

I know what you mean about drooling over tri bikes, hmm if you can you should volunteer for IM Wisconsin coming up... don't know how far that is for you, but it's a whole new way to see triathlons (and of course lots more bikes).

    Thanks for the link...

Hey - you pushed yourself all the way, congrats! Nice impressions on the "nature" things. Boy I'm glad I don't need to get up that early, then drive for my races.

    Gotta check out Hammer gel.

Great job, Urlea! Nice report. I can't wait to see the pics. Sounds like you had a great day out there, despite the flying shot bloks and the stubborn legs. Sometimes I have to remind myself to have "fun" at a race. Not that I'm so super competitive and am trying to place (mostly just trying not to place last overall), but I sometimes have to stop and take time to remember why this is fun.
You don't seem to need any reminders. Great job!
