Have you seen the prices they're asking for their clothing? Can someone explain why they're so expensive and whether or not they're worth it?

Well, here are a couple of guesses:
a) Crummy exchange rate of the dollar vs other currencies.
b) Unless I'm mistaken ... EO clothing isn't made by sweatshop laborers in China or thereabouts.

2007 Rivendell Bleriot - Rivet Pearl
I have an extensive EO collection and for me, they are well worth it.
Main reasons:
• Top quality workmanship and fabrics
(everything else seems cheap and flimsy in comparison, except Assos)
• They are available in smaller, very fitted sizes
• Full-zip jerseys
• Sleek designs which aren't too girly or silly
I don't care much for their shorts, but their winter gear is top notch.

Agree. Exceedingly high quality clothes that are worth the money. Just watch for sales.
Same reason Orbeas are so pricey? They are both Basque companies.
I got some bibs for about $70 off Sierra Trading post and from what I can tell they are worth the full selling price. The problem is I am not a fan of the chamois but I love the fabric. It feels so light yet supports, nice combo especially when it is 100 degrees out. For me it isn't a long ride chamois which stinks since they are the nicest fabric.![]()
