Well, some of the guys in my club are signed up and a few more are going as well. Although I grew up in Palo Alto, I never rode Tunitas Creek or Kings Mountain. 8400 (+/-) ft of altitude gain sounds pretty tough for the 100 miler although I'd probably do that distance with the group.Even the metric sounds challenging. We'll see. Have a bit more time to decide.

Well, I signed up for the 55 miler with, of all people, my DD's boyfriend. My coworker may also ride. If anyone else is riding this, I'd love to know! Velogirl - thank you for the training schedule! I wanted to ride with y'all, but it's so much easier just to ride from home.![]()
