Looking small replacement parts: rear tail light attachment piece

Does anyone know where I could find the little piece that attaches the tail light to the rear rack (the really bendy one)? Mine broke and I have scoured internet but without any luck

Any help/advice would be much appreciated!

    Thanks!

How about Ebay...they have everything! I would also check a local sporting goods store, such as Dicks. They should be able to find you one.

I'd call peter white and see if he can help you. He has all sorts of light mounts - how does that piece attach, anyway? Seems like you would have to weld it on?

It attaches through the tiny holes on the top with a screw/nut/bolt

Could you make one from a stainless steel blank from a hardware store? SS blanks come in all sizes, and are pretty easy to cut or drill. I fashioned a fender bracket from one.

    Ah - that makes sense

I wonder if you could use a rack support - lots of racks come with multiple supports, and my lbs usually has lots of them left over...

    Good luck!

What are these things of which you speak? Where would I find one (hardware store, bike store, etc)?
