    I have the answer...

    "How hard can it be?"

Wicked, wicked hard. Not as hard mentally as a double century, but physically very challenging.

Details for you all later. My total time was 7:27. Good enough for third in the Athena division.

Great finish, especially considering the heat! I envy your 34 minute swim. My 1500K swim is 33 and change.

    Congrats!

    V. your first HIM is really really stinking hard, especially the run and you had heat to contend with. You did great. It's taken me 11 years or racing to get over the feeling like my legs are going to fall off in the first 3 miles of the run. I take that back, they still feel like they are going to fall off.... just not quite so acutely.
