Duck feet. Ping Pong Paddles. And the cycling shoes that crush them.

So, I've been crying crying crying after long rides in my Nike cycling shoes with Look pedals. Those pointy little toes brings to mind 1983 and those high heel boots I could never wear. *Yerch!*

I just bought some men's Sidis, used, leather, all broken in, for way cheap ($15 and $10 shipping) from ebay. I slid them on and it was like Cinderella and the glass slipper.

If you have feet like mine, try the sidis. And get them on ebay, from a guy, used. Your feet will thank you.

I've never tried on Nike cycling shoes, but their running shoes are notorious for being pointy toed. Sounds like the cycling shoes are made on the same last.

You know, Becca, I am not even sure which model they are. I know they are men's - black, leather with mesh over the insole. About three inches across in the toe box - NICE! When I go home tonight, I will get the model number.

Look for the used Nike cycling shoes on the TE gear for sale. I'm selling them cheap.

Nikes are also pretty notorious for running small and narrow overall....

I was always convinced that I HAD to have nike's when I was running. I had a problem with the pointy toed-ness of them , but just kept on suffering. That which doesn't kill you makes you stronger, right? They came out with a trail version of pegasus air, and it was wonderful. But then they discontinued it! Grrrrr.
