Oh my gosh my truck is still registered in OR, but I really need to get my CO plates *sigh*. Oh that would be so sweetly ironic to finally get past the ego pig guys around here who look back at you on suburban roads with mile-wide bike paths and center medians, and continue to ride on the freegin line or in the lane.

Texas has them. I actually don't like that it is obviously Lance because he is the reason everyone in their huge trucks thinks we are clogging the road. They always say "who do you think you are, Lance?" Plus they are $75 and the state is notoriously slow for actually getting funds to the organization they benefit. Some claim they have never seen money from the vanity plates.

I prefer my "Please be kind to cyclists" bumper sticker.

NC does have a share the road plate, but it's my understanding that the funds are regularly raided for other things. I certainly wouldn't mind giving $$ to the cycling organizations, but I'm not a fan of providing DOT with extra $$.

I paid $30, not $75, for mine. ($30 over and above whatever your regular registration fee would be.)

Oops! It is $75 to register a truck in my county. Once I heard TXDOT hadn't released the funds to the humane society two years after they were introduced I said no way.

Louisiana has lots of vanity plates. But none for bicyclists. There is one for Motorcycle Awareness.

    Pooh for us.
