    Cirque du Soleil acrobats/athletes

Well, I consider these performers, athletes. Just saw a Cirque du Soleil performance on tv ..everytime I'm Always love the choreography.

Have not yet seen a full-length live show. Just saw live performance in where they only starred in a small piece: lst time-was at special show for enveiling of the 2010 winter olympics icon. 2nd time- at..a law firm barbecue in Montreal where our firm paid 2 Cirque du Soleil gymnasts to do some sets as part of the entertainment.

For instance: one woman gymnast did a backwards bendover arch...and 2nd woman did a handstand briefly on her abdomen. I was only 10 ft. away watching them.

It's simply riveting awesome to see their stamina, flexibility and control.

Cirque will be in Kelowna in June, and DH works for the company who supplies their sound equipment, so the company summer "event" is the Cirque show! Can't wait to see them - I've never seen anything like them live.

I saw the "O" show in Las Vegas -- really amazing. It's hard to believe they are working with the same basic body parts that I have!

We sat up in the balcony and could see all the stuff going on under the water as support (ie, the divers and oxygen tanks, stuff being moved in and out that the rest of the audience cannot see at all). It's pretty cool... was expensive though!
