Here is what was floating around in your neck of the woods this past Saturday.
It was photographed from a backyard in Bentonville.
Thankfully it never touched the ground and moved on.

This is a particularly bad year, due to La Nina, I think I half-heard on the weather the other day.
Tornadoes don't scare me, really. I figure if it's going to happen, there's not a thing I can do about it (except maybe get in my hidey-hole and wait). If I moved out west it'd be earthquake, on the Gulf, hurricanes, in the east...lots of traffic, the high cost of living, and snow, and still an occasional storm and yes tornadoes. Other things factor more importantly into where I live.
We have a fantastic quality of life, here, if you ask me...there are drawbacks (bike shops too far away), but I love it here, even when the local whacko yells at me at the ball park.
It'd always be something, no matter where I go. But, I'm an optimist, and I focus on the good. And, tonight, no storms materialized at all.
