Lance's shop, Mellow Johnny's, opened today. We are sure when we are heading the 40 miles down to it but hopefully soon. It sounds on paper like it could be one of the coolest bike shops ever but I will have to see for myself.

There is another photo in the issue where he is riding his bike over some bridge (in Austin, I suppose) without a helmet. I would suggest sending him a note (or mentioning it if you see him at the store). He's maybe "too good" or "too cool" for a helmet but it's not really cool for parents trying to get their kids to wear one to see role models like him doing without...

Shoot, I just want every bike I see. What is it, "the first step to solving the problem is admitting you have a problem"? ok... for an ignorant Kiwi from DownUnder who didn't realise Lance was opening a shop (but am not at all surprised he is), can you tell me what he might stock?
I assume Treks will be a given... but what other brands...
Ones with brains and beauty like Cervelo perhaps?
I assume not beautiful brainless ones like De Rosa...
Anyone got any ideas?
