    Anyone done a Super Sprint?

Anyone done one and felt a big difference between it and a Sprint?

It's somewhere between a regular sprint and an olympic distance tri.

    Sprint: 750m swim, 20k bike, 5k run
    Super: 1000m swim, 24k bike, 8k run
    Oly: 1500 m swim 40 km bike - 10 km run

I signed up for one at the end of May, and now I'm getting nervous. It will prolly add about 8 mins to my swim, 10 to my bike, and maybe 15 mins to my run.

It sounded ok in theory, but I'm nervous now!

I did an IronGirl sprint triathlon that was 1000m swim/18mi bike/3.4mi run. It was only my second triathlon and my first with an OWS. It wasn't the distances so much that made it really challenging as it was the hilly bike and run routes.
I'd rather be swimming...biking...running...and eating cheesecake...

I did one with that kind of distance but a longer bike leg. Was fine. You have some more time to fuel so that's good. I was rather a bit more tired at the end but that was because it was a hilly course. And I nearly drowned in the cold river.

    You'll do fine.
It's a little secret you didn't know about us women. We're all closet Visigoths.

My first was a 750m swim, 26k bike, 6k run. It was fine, although maybe I should have paced myself a bit better on the run and not started quite as fast.
Biggest worry was monsters coming from the depths of the lake and nibbling my toes during the swim (that was what I spent the whole night dreaming of before the tri).

Oh no! My dreams always have to do with not being able to see where I'm going for some reason. Sand, water, stuff in my eyes.

If your races venues are like mine the water will be so murky that you won't be able to see where you are going, or who you are swimming into, until you run them over.
