    How will you spend it?

Hurray for $600 that landed in my bank account this morning from the economic stimulus. Not sure how much it will help the economy, but it will definitely help pay off the car loan and maybe finance a bike part or two.

How will you spend your check?

LOL, I was hoping mine would be there when I checked my balance this morning...but nothing yet.

Mine is going to pay for the moustache handlebar conversion on my bike (I have gathered all the parts, now I just gotta pay for the labor). The rest will go into the ol' IRA.

Thank you for my belly laugh of the day

I'm spending it on race travel. Or, along the lines of Zen, I could just buy a big bag of very high quality marijuana.

Zen, thanks for the chuckle..loved it.. As far as the check, not sure I will even see it. Goes into DH's account and doubt he will even tell me if it ever made it there or not. We should split it 50/50 but I know that ain't gonna happen..he's a greedy B@&T#D.

It's going into my savings account so I can travel to Kentucky for Ironman Kentucky, August 2008!

The trip is going to cost me $2,000 easy and I don't have but $300 saved up.

Gave some of it to the Trust for Public Land, and some of it will go toward joining a CSA. The rest will help pay off my BLUE

If you did a direct deposit for your tax refund, you'll get this money the same way. If you got a paper check, you'll have to wait longer.

What if you didn't get a refund but filed your taxs electronically is that the same? No? Also what if you file jointly? and your ss are different do they send it to you depending on who's ss comes first?

I just got answers to these same questions last night.

If you file jointly, it's based on the primary filers SS number.

If you paid taxes, it depends on how you filed. When we did ours electronically with Turbo Tax, it actually asked us for our bank info for the pending stimulus check (which I hope means we get *something*), even though we had to pay. If you didn't use Turbo Tax and you never gave your direct deposit info, then it'll generate a paper check that gets mailed out to you. I don't think that paying electronically is enough info for it to refund electronically (but I'm not 100% sure about that).

$300 to put Nerf Bars on the truck so I can get in it. No it isn't lifted, I am just short on we have a steep driveway.

$900 to sit prettty in the savings account until September when we got to New Mexico to tackle the Enchanted Circle Century.
