I was just wondering the same thing! Spazz hun: let us know you're still here!
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand, strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming: "Yeah Baby! What a Ride!"

    I'm baaa-ack

Hi grrls! Thanks for asking. Reasons for absence:

    1) Computer hard drive crash (again)... took a power hit. Took me a while to diagnose and then reload all my stuff. Fortunately I had done a backup of personal data the week before...

    2) Sick doggie - the little guy, Willie (Shih Tzu), suddenly starting having these very painful (imagine dog screaming) episodes. Diagnosed as Intervertebral Disc Disease... 2 weeks of 24/7 pain managment for him. He's coming off 'roids now and doing well. Hoping for no recurrance.

    3) Came down with the flu...

    4) Friend that is supposed to dog-sit (while I come to see y'all for the Cinderella) mother has fallen gravely ill. She's had to fly home. My roomie is off on a cruise at same time I'm supposed to come to CA. I'm scrambling to find dog care. This could impact my ability to come out.

So, that's what I've been up to. Needless to say, my butt hasn't been on the bike much at all. So, can a girl who hasn't trained hardly at all make it throught the Cinderella without killing herself?

    spazz.... I need a nap
    no regrets!

yes! c'mon out. I know how it is about dog-care. Hope something works out. I'd say "bring the dog" but Mae might object.

I think every once in a while you should just go on a long ride, just go. You've got the miles in your body and the Cindy is flat flat flat (well maybe a couple hills).
