    Help

Can someone tell me how to attach an image. I just can't seem to work it out. I guess I'm either going senile or I'm just dumb!!
    Thanks

    Margaret -
There are two ways you can show pictures - one is to use the icon in the line of icons just above the data entry box with the picture of the mountain on it. If you use that, what you need to do is point to an image somewhere else on the web. For example, I have pictures in a smugmug photo gallery that I often point to using that icon. What belongs between the IMG and /IMG is the url of the picture - for example, here's the URL I filled in to point to one of my pictures: http://denise.smugmug.com/photos/44146-S-1.jpg

If you want to upload a picture to this board and show it in your post, you use the manage attachments button in the attach files box that is in the additional options section below the box where you enter your text (and below the submit reply and preview post buttons).

Thanks! I thought it was time to switch to a biking picture! This is a shot of me in the Grand Tetons on my solo cross country tour back in 2002. Actually the head shot I was using before was a picture of me from a tour of Hawaii to show the definite helmet ridges I had in my hair after a day of riding! It was probably too small to really see the ridges though.

No, you're not lost or confused! I just tried the same thing but with a picture that was only 14 kb - and I got the same error message. I wonder if there is something that has to be enabled. I just looked through my user options and didn't see anything obvious there that needs to be reset.

Maybe the admin can help out here!
