A novel idea

I love it when my favorite books are made into movies. It brings my mental imagery to life and I really enjoy it. I just found out that one of my favorite books, The Memory Keepers Daughter, was made into a movie. Has anyone else read the book? I'm having a bunch of my girlfriends over this Sunday night to watch it, its on Lifetime (check local cable listings..hahaha).

I read the book.. it was wonderful, and surprising. I'm looking forward to seeing the movie -- I'll have to keep the clicker out of DH's hands! A girl party is a great idea for this one! ENJOY!

That's definitely one of my favorite books. I'm always hesitant to watch the film version of a book because I don't want it to change how I visualized the characters. Do you know if/when it will air again?

Thanks for the info. I watched it last night and loved it!! Wasn't Gretchen Mol fabulous. I think she might be one of my new favorite actresses!!
