It's the Terry tunic and bolero, I hadn't seen the combination before.
I may just have some economic stimulating to do.

It's very, very cute. I agree.

I know this is the wrong place to bring this up, but on the topic of economic stimulation, I have an ax to grind:

    http://marketplace.publicradio.org/d.../01/april_1st/

I was totally stunned when I heard this tonight. I am as liberal as they come but this is WRONG WRONG WRONG. If a US citizen wants to make the decision to spend their tax refund paying down personal debt, THEY HAVE THE RIGHT TO DO SO. It is unconstitutional for the IRS to second-guess citizens this way. I'm writing my representatives.

Seriously, if this weren't actually happening, it would make a great subject for a darkly comic short story. It seems so bizarre.

Edit. Duh. I missed this when I heard it tonight. Just re-read it. Last line it "ok, check your calendars everybody." Not writing my reps after all. April fools. (I was seriously planning on writing my reps -- glad I noticed that little detail first eek.).

That's about as wrong-headed as the whole economics stimulus check thing.
    This is lunacy.

Sadly, I would not put it past the current administration. Or the IRS.

In my defense I was in the other room and only half-overheard the story when it came on the radio though .

Well, in my defense, I'm a very serious minded person and simply don't think of frivolous things like April Fools jokes.

(now there's an April Fools joke)

Yeah, that's super cute. Makes me think of Jackie O. Very Oleg Cassini-esque.
