Since I had my laser eye surgery, I no longer need these. I bought them in January and used them for 2 months. They are the strongest you can buy (-10) and my eyes were -12 before.

If anyone can use them, I'll give them away. Free to a TE friend.

My eyes are sloooowly adjusting. It takes time. The biggest annoyance is double vision or ghosting. My vision is actually close to 20/20 now but the astigmatism makes it seems worse. Theoretically that will go away as the corneal edema reduces over time.

Let me know if you want the goggles. I just realized I posted a picture with black straps but mine are actually clear/white. The lenses are tinted.

KG: hope this isn't too much of a hijack but can the type of surgery you had correct for pre-existing astigmatism? Or not at all?

It is supposed to be able to correct my astigmatism. However, it tends to heal unevenly so you can experience astigmatism (or astigmatism-type symptoms) during that process. I guess we won't know for another few months what is actually causing my double vision. It's most likely due to the corneal edema and dry eyes (I know that sounds like a contradiction). It COULD be caused by an uncorrected astigmatism (that I had previously) or it could be due to a new astigmatism caused by the procedure. My initial suggestion is the most common. I am tired of typing 'astigmatism' now.

I'm not brave enough to let anyone come near my eyes with lasers.
