    New pic of my Blue

I'm too sick with a cold to go riding today though the weather is nice.

So, instead I decided to make some little adjustments, and clean up the bike, lube the chain, etc. She's so beauteous I had to take a picture. I'm smitten! But I want some advice.......

I'd like comments about how you would improve her looks even more. Thoughts I've had include: white saddle, blue tires, white or blue bar tape. What combination of tires, saddle, and bar tape would you get for her?

ETA: The angle of that picture makes the bars look so high! Like a tourer! It is a high rise stem, but the bars are 3cm below the saddle... I swear! I do tend to suffer from low back pain, hence the high rise stem, but I don't need the bars at the same height as the saddle. Still, I'm sure the elitists in the park think I'm such a poser with the bars so high on a racing bike. Ech... "so what" I say!

I've been sick too! She is, indeed, pretty. Have you considered blue tires?

Yes indeed I have! I just added a plea for opinions on the original post...

I'd go with white bar tape. If the saddle's comfortable then I'd never screw with it just for looks. I kind of think that blue tires might be a bit much. She's so pretty already, I'd hate to overdo it.

I think I agree with EDHgirl. White tape would be gorgeous.

    Very hot bike!

ETA: Is that a Terry? They are making a few white saddles right now, including the Butterfly I believe.

Personally, I think a honey Brooks adorns any bike, whatever the colors.

Yeah... I wouldn't want to overdo it either. But, since it is such a unique bike, I thought maybe something should be different to enhance the look. I'm looking for a new saddle anyway, and the ones I'm considering all come in white or black.

I think Blue looks awesome just as she is. I wouldn't change a thing.

Just chiming in with the sick crowd here....3 weeks, raging head cold/sinus something. Blech.

I'm finally feeling better as of yesterday though still very easily fatigued. I've taken a couple of easy trainer rides to just get moving again...

Thanks for all the nice comments about Blue. She and I appreciate it!

7Rider, I love your signature. I've always felt badly for neglected bunnies. I'm an animal rights activist in my copious spare time (yeah right). Some people just don't think, do they?

I have to agree with LBTC. How do you keep white bar tape white?
