    The Princess Needs...

Okay... let's be honest here. I have an entire drawer full of winter cycling clothes. And a tub full of summer cycling clothes.

But today I decided that I need a short sleeve wool jersey with a full zip, preferably red. It occurred to me that this would be the perfect thing to wear on my 300 K on Saturday with arm warmers and my thermal AV vest. I would be set for anything, until it got dark when I'd add my windbreaker.

I hate to be cold, but I get really hot when I climb. Such a princess... I'll have to make do with either my red cashmere jersey with no zip or buttons or my green wool one with buttons.

PS Of course I'll be adding the very stylish, ultra reflective vest.

Does desired jersey actually exist, or is it a "dream jersey"? If it's out there, I say get it. You can always follow the "one in, one out" rule and sell another less loved jersey here to make room for this one (which you know you'll love).

Rivendell has one that is close. It's a 12 inch zip in red. Ibex has one in blue with a full zip.

So, yeah, I could get one.

PS Mostly I was poking fun at myself and my need to have a jersey for every two degrees.

My bolero just arrived from Terry and my husband said,"How many things do you need??!!"

This from man who bought me Ibex x country ski pants and countless pieces of cycling apparel because I "might" need them.

    You are not a princess.

V--Sometimes having the "right" outfit is vital. You can consider it an early reward for the hard work.
