Exclamation Have you seen this bike?

Last seen: in my garage in Seattle, February 4th
    Color: candy apple red
    Make: Rodriguez
    Year: ~2002
    Frame size: 42 cm
    Components: Shimano Ultegra
Wheelset: 650 C Bontrager, with purple spoke nipples
Pedals: Speedplay Frog clipless (photos pre-date these)
    Seat: Serfa women's gel
Accessories: Cateye headlight, Avocet cycling computer, patch kit, rearview mirror; but what I really care about is the FRAME!

As a petite woman, it is very difficult to find a bike that fits! If you see this bike, please, please, please let me know when/where you saw it. If someone tries to sell it to you, be aware that it is stolen property.

I will be eternally grateful to anyone who can provide information as to the whereabouts of this bicycle.

    Thank you!
    Jocelyn F.

I would suggest you get this info out to your LBS. Also, regularly check craigslist and ebay.

put in a police report too.

Not only check craigs list but put in ad of lost bike.

Put in a report at your local police station with pic.

Also, put in a word in at local radio station to announce.

I am sorry to hear of this. Very sad! People need to keep their hands off others things.
We live in a society that teaches and allows people to do what they want and when they want, these days. Self control is lacking.

Alert Recycled Cycles, too. www.recycledcycles.com And I assume you already put a "stolen" note on your National Bike Registry entry? www.nationalbikeregistry.com I doubt the thief would try to take it back to R+E, but it doesn't hurt to make sure Smiley and the rest know the bike was stolen.

    Good luck!

Good advice already and I'm sure that you've alerted R&E, right? Dan, Scott, Smiley et al usually make sure to recommend registering every bike that they build or sell with the Seattle PD...I'll keep an eye out for it, as it's unique enough - sizing and color - that it should be pretty conspicuous...I have a Rodriquez too and couldn't bear to have it taken...hang in there.
