I dunno about chocolate bars after a workout but chocolate milk is my nearly ideal recovery food.
You've got your liquid/hydration food group, your protein food group, and your chocolate food groupadd coffee (make it a mocha) and you have the caffeine food group.

I'm pretty crazy for the chocolate from Mr. Theo in Seattle. Their single source "origin" chocolates are soooooooo good! Just chocolate and sugar. MMmmmMMMM. http://www.theochocolate.com/products/

Knot.. Thanks for the recommendation on the THEO chocolate bars. Found a store in Mount Vernon on their website list -- I'll check it out this week. I'm always in the market for a new chocolate to try! This is probably one of the many reasons I'm not dropping the winter weight yet!
PS.. My vote is also for the chocolate milk post ride -- excellent stuff!
