The trip to Waterford was last fall and, now, the bike is done. But, she just doesn't photograph well. The paint is a purple harlequin. It can take on colors from purple to gold, often looking brown with purple and gold highlights. The paint job is gorgeous, but when I use flash it pulls out every imperfection and makes it look all scratched up (and it isn't!). I don't want to take them outside since right now it is snowing and there is salt everywhere.
Anyway, here are three shots...the simple profile and two shots, one to show the purple tone and one to show the gold.
Sadly, this weekend I'll be swapping out the rear tire and putting her on the trainer. The fit is much different than what I have so I want to get used to it now although sitting on it at the shop it was clearly "just right".
Oh, and it weighs less than my three year-old Cannondale aluminum and there is a lot of frame there. Spring cannot come too soon!
