Help, pls say it's not so

As you know I experience a sternoclavicular dislocation in my accident in October and it moved up 1cm. They were concerened that the bone had moved in toward my breathing pipe but it hadn't..phew! I'm led to believe that it's healed or is just about healed. Now i'm not so sure and am wondering if a piece of bone's gone on vacation and is floating in my chest or if i';m just crazy

I've swum regularly since the accident since i can't bike and need to keep in shape somehow! I've taken care not to damage it again but I think i may have moved the wrong way??? I don't know if it's moved again or if i've just pulled a muscle in the area? I swear i've not done anything out of the ordinary!!!

I keep feeling poking sensations in my lower neck/breastbone area, pressure when i lay flat and tingling amongst other things. Leaning forward to do up my shoes hurts.

I saw my dr yesterday for something else but mentioned this and said if i wanted to do a CT scan it might be an idea. I went for one today and won't get the results til wed...

In the meantime..what can I do to help it heal? I'd like to keep swimming but won't do backstroke for now.

I really don't want to wear an arm sling again

    Thanks

Yikes! I can't offer any help, but I can offer sympathy as I await tests from an MRI for my shoulder. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you - especially since you have been so good about taking care of yourself as directed (I'm not a very good patient...).

Cathy, what happened to your shoulder? I must have missed something.

Oh CC...Yikes....I cannot offer any advice since I am currently sitting on the bench too, but I am sorry that you have a complication in your recovery. I hope it is just a muscle......

CC & SheFly I'm sending lots of healing and patient butterflies! I hope they can find the exact problem and that it's an easy one with a fabulous solution!

In the meantime, think positive (it can help in healing), wait patiently, and be easy on your body. I know, not easy, but you're doing well at it so far, this is just a little stumble....you're still on the right path!

    Hugs and butterflies,
