I will be undergoing 2nd testing to see if I truly have type 2 diabetes. Right now first tests indicate elevated sugar level.
When I was told, I was shocked. But supposedly this can happen to reasonably healthy person like myself. Really I don't need to lose more weight. I'm 98 lbs. at 5'1". Will be 49 yrs. in few wks. I don't smoke and have abit of wine every few months. I've been cycling for past 14 years. I know my intake of sugar in food has increased over past 20 years. When I was a teenager, sugar was rarely in my meals. And as a child, mother rationed our cookie and soft drink intake.
So this latest possible change is abit shocking to me.
So I browsed this thread on type 2 diabetes

Any more thoughts, experiences?
