Anyone ever noticed the benefits of waxing?

I've noticed that having a Brazilian bikini wax seems to eliviate any saddle soreness for me...either with spinning or outside rides...

Although my boyfriend talked me into getting one for his own selfish desires...I've maintained it because I feel so much better in the saddle!

Am I just imagining that it helps?

Thumbs up all the way, baby!

Hey, TD! I have to say I don't know if it makes it better or not....I've been brazilianing for longer than I've been riding hard!!

I do know that same day and sometimes next day riding, especially in the heat, is not very pleasant, but it's great after that!

and, yes, it started with the husband's wish....but it makes me feel sexy, too!

    Namaste,

    Cool Takes all kinds

Your posts make me happy happy HAPPY to be blissfully single.

While I can be happy for you (if you are happy) my little inner voice just cringes with the idea of doing something, ANYthing solely to please another human being.

I'm trimmed/shaved (for personal--riding/swiming/aesthetic-- reasons) but most recent bf once commented "you don't need to do that for ME"....well erm thank-you but I do it for ME!

Some of just aren't the marry-ing type I suppose.

Is that kind of like road vs. mtb? Or Campy vs. Shimano???

In actuality, my boyfriend is my fiancee, I just hate using that word...it's so silly...so he is the marrying type and the type worth waxing for...and I tend to oblige my boyfriend because he is so lovely...

I see nothing wrong with trying something new to please a loving, caring, extremely sexy partner...as long I as I feel good about trying it out...

And men are so funny...simply removing a little hair from your own body is like a day at Disneyland for them!

Well, put Twice! A day at Disneyland.....hahahahaha

congratulations on nabbing a good one! My man and I found each other in 1983 and were married in 1988. It's so cool that we've both evolved into fast mountain bikers together!! And all that other sweet romantic sexy stuff we do, too....

yes, that's really funny ( and true) I think when you find the right person... sometimes you can do things to make them happy and then you feel happy that they are so happy and it grows from there. It gets to the point where it doesn't really matter who started it for what reasons.

It reminds me of something I once heard about having kids, and a concern that it would take away lovefrom the couple in the family. The response was that it was like lighting another candle when you had two already lit... you just get more light.
