There was quite a long interview with him on Eurosport tv during the TdF.
Inspirational guy.
Because of my own experiences with both illness and acident I think you can recover against odds.
That said I think you should use who and what you *were* as a motivation but not as a goal. The thing to realise is that your struggle is to become the same person *inside* as you were. But that doesn't mean you have to *do* the same things.
I hope Saul comes to this conclusion.

I was sorry to hear this - I had been reading about him in a bike magazine recently.
He sounds like a smart positive guy, and I bet he will find a way to do something great, that will make him happy.
I don't think the bike world has heard the last of this guy, he sounds pretty cool.
I've met him, and Mimi is right -- he is a cool guy, very articulate and poised beyond his years.
