So, here's the scenario. I live in Mpls, the weather will turn cold very soon and today is gorgeous for late October. I haven't ridden in 3 wks due to my son being with me FT (the ex has been out of town). Also, I'm into wk 3 of a NEW job so I can't really cut out early, least not at 3 wks . . . and I keep looking out my window at the sunshine. I really really really want to go home and get on my bike. Now, I could do that after I get home from work but the light starts to fade very early this time of year. Yes, I am a self-confessed wuss -- I should ride late into the night and enjoy it right? I've got the lights, fluorescent jacket, etc.
Came home last night @ 8 pm and passed a large group of bikers -- I cheered them on for being on their bikes, riding in the night, enjoying their passion -- wishing that I was riding alongside them.
Bummer . . . I know that many of you ride year round, day or night and perhaps I need the motivation to get out and ride my bike, no matter what. Any words of inspiration would be appreciated.
