    New shoes

One of the big advantages of NOT riding clipless on my bike is that I get to wear any shoes I damwell want to on my bike!

Just broke these Patagonia shoes in this morning on a 33 mile ride, at 55 degreesF.

i really like them because the leather uppers are very soft but the soles are stiff and tough and have lots of tread. Good arch support too.
I got the size with a little bit of wiggle room, so I can actually wear two pairs of warm wool socks inside. Bring on the cold weather!
Comfy but supportive, good for fitness walking as well, which I also like to do.

Lisa, sharp shoes girl. I am assuming they look like they have a nice tread traction for snow filled days? Were your feet warm today? I forgot my shoe covers, started off at 32.5 degrees, finished at 55. My feet would've gone to heaven if I couldve had 2 pairs of socks on them.

Wow, you were colder than us! We're nearer to Albany, and the morning started at 55 but ended at 60 and sunny, so one pair of wool socks was plenty!
    No danger of frostbite yet!
You must be way further north?

Yep, I have a few good traction shoes and boots for snow- also for snowshoeing. Now all we need this winter is more snow than last year.
