ROTFLMAO.
Almost as cranky as a triathlete that went out for her first ride since Ironman and got her azz kicked.
Hang in there. The crankiness goes away eventually and the really cool thing is that eventually you actually go out running again and *enjoy* it.

I "ran" 1.3 miles this morning, in the dark, lots of stars, it was really nice. I am going up to the race that I bailed on to support my friend. I know I made the right decision because I am not even wishing I was racing.
That's freakin' hilarious. How did I miss this? I guess since it's off-season I'm not frequenting around here much.![]()
Wahine- I know how you feel. Last year I went for a ride a month post IM and the 20 easy miles we rode felt like 100 of all hills. It was very, very sad. You're still recovering girl- take it easy.
Good job on running in the dark, Ruth! I've never run at night on the trails (well, heck- anywhere). Do you worry about falling? Do you have a headlamp or just carry a flashlight?
