    Favorite cold remedies

So I have my first cold of the season. Actually bad timing, since we have our Fall Swap and Sale this weekend to kick off the cold weather season. So I am working 6 days this week - each at least 10 hour days (yes, quite yukky).

My question - what are your favorite cold remedies? Keep in mind, I won't be able to stay home. Unfortunately, I have to work through this one.

Lots of green tea and Zicam lozenges.

I tried buttered rum one time and it seemed to help too.

I use those Zicam nose swipes at the first sign of a cold. It stops it dead. I did use them recently after the cold was further advanced and I think it cleared up more quickly. Colds don't usually do me in, though.

I'm a believer in Zicam...just tried it last season, and it was fantastic. Tasted nasty, but it worked wonders. The tablets or the goo in the plastic spoon both!
