Outdoor Demo - what did you ride?

For those here in Vegas at the Outdoor Demo, what did you ride? What do you still want to ride?

    Here's what I rode with a couple of notes/opinions:
Gary Fisher HiFi Carbon - light, quick and responsive - very fun.
Trek Top Fuel 9.8 WSD - fit nice, nothing fancy
Salsa Dos Niner - cool graphics, 29er model that rolls over stuff well
Santa Cruz Super Lite - wow, what a great bike. Very light and fast - definitely a fun bike.
Scott Addict - fast, fast bike. Absolutely, totally hated the saddle - ended up riding this most of the time off of the saddle.
Marin Juniper Trail - OK - seemed to bob a lot. This is a women specific model that is true women specific.
Niner R.I.P - not bad. Would have felt more comfortable on it if the rear brake worked (Shimano )
Moots Zirkel - nice titanium suspension bike. Would need some getting used to for their suspension design - kind of bouncy.

Tomorrow I need to revisit the companies we carry - Fisher HiFi GS, Lemond Zurich WSD, and something Marin road (not all of their bikes were there yet).

I'll also try to ride something from the following companies: Specialized, Bianchi, Titus, Blue, Ibis, and Jamis. The reason I say try is two fold - long lines (I'm not very patient) and sizing. Since I'm only 5'4", not all companies have something to fit me here.

    Anyone else with their opinion?

I'd probably have fun and ride all kinds of fruity and/or stupidly expensive things I would never otherwise get the chance to ride.
Drink coffee and do stupid things faster with more energy.

    Sorry I missed you Traci!
Sounds like you rode a lot! I didn't ride any mountain. All road/tri.
The Kuota Kaliber is the SHEAT!! OMG did I LOVE that bike!!! 'xcuse the salty language, but that bike ROCKED! And the Kuota guys were super nice!
Unlike the Cervelo reps. They were a PIA. I did ride a P3C- top o the line there. It was nice, but after the Kaliber, it didn't impress me.
On the road side the Wilier was SWEET! Nothing like a sexy Italian ride complete with Campy to rock your world!
The boys rode all mountain, but like you they had trouble finding stuff for the shortest guy in the group. Seems a lot of the riders were a size small. Bummer. Tho they did get to ride an impressive selection.
So, how did the rest of the show go? I was busy constantly! It was nuts!!
Something about the phrase "we are opening up a shop in the west valley of Phoenix" that peaks their interest, and makes them want to meet with you to peddle their wares.
Looks like our main brand will be Giant. And then either Kona or Felt (leaning toward Kona) as our secondary. Higher end brands we may try to bring in are intense, santa cruz, and/or Pivot. Oh- and QR on the tri side possible. Tho Giant has some SWEET womens tri specific bikes!

The show went well. I'm still quite tired. I got home late last night and had a full day of family activities. I was able to get a ride in though which felt good on the stiff legs.

I was able to ride about 7 more bikes on Tuesday. Wednesday - Friday was crazy. On Thursday, we had an appt every hour from 9 - 4 finishing up around 5. I wasn't able to get to the women's seminar - one of my good friends was racing in the USA Crit. I'm glad I watched her - she came in 11th. We stayed and watched the other races also.

Hey I saw the womens crit- as well as the industry race. LOTS of flats- which of course mean't crashes. The one on the last lap was insane! The guy flew a good 5 feet into the air!
Couldn't stay for the late race tho- just too tired and still needed to eat!

Yeah I was bummed that I didn't get to meet you or Jeni, but it was just NUTS! And I imagine next year will be even crazier with the shop up and running. But nuts in a good way!
Did you stay through to the end yesterday? Lots of good deals in the last hour.
