    Finally a Casseroll Picture!

Here's my new bike! I'm still adjusting to riding a road bike, but it's really fun! I am so much faster on this bike - I can finally make it through all the lights in the middle of my commute that are timed for 20 mph (barely, and with an assist from a hill at the beginning ). I got 5 extra miles in yesterday by going to the gym after work instead of going home. I need to think of another excuse not to go straight home tomorrow!

I still don't have my Frogs or my Terry Firefly seat, but those should be in next week. Woohoo!

I meant to post this too - not my bike, but my beautiful boys and dog (oh, and me too!)...

Purrr-ty. Particularly like the tan sidewalls. Glad to hear it all worked out.

OOOOO! Congrats! Very purty! and such cute kids!

....Ok, I confess I'm a noob and I was expecting maybe cauliflower cheese or tuna with chips on top . I didn't know it was a bike and thought you spelled casserole wrong.

It is deceiving, isn't it? Salsa has some pretty creative names for their bikes.

Speaking of casseroll, I'm getting hungry.

Hooray, tjf! Your picture does the bike much more justice than even the Salsa website. It looks very classy and like a comfy ride! Congrats and happy riding!

Your family pic is great too! I'm such a sucker for cute kids and dogs.

Such a classic, smoooth lookin bike. Is the salsa a steel frame or another material? Enjoy many great miles with your new wheels.

Thanks for sharing your family pics. My twin boys are 35, but it seems not that long ago they were sweet 3 year olds. Cherish this time.

It's steel. I wanted something that would hold up to daily commuting, so steel seemed like the best bet.

I try to enjoy every stage - even the challenging ones. They just grow up so fast!

ETA: I s'pose I should mention that I got me pedals and seat today. Woohoo, finally complete! I love love love the Frogs! So much easier than the crap pedals I had before. And the Terry Firefly is awesome too. It has flames embroidered on it! I'll try to take another pic now that it's done.

Congratulations on your bike!!! It's beautiful - here's wishing you many happy miles together.

Just think what a great example you're setting for your "little sponges" - they'll have a lifetime of great habits from watching you
