    DH got his road bike

We spent Friday afternoon at the bike shop. The Hub ended up with the Trek Pilot. He loves it already and made me ride twice yesterday.

The one bad thing. We bought the bike out of town. Loaded it on our new Saris hitch mount and drove an hour and a half home. I had told my husband that I hope he didn't scratch it. I freak over scratches. HATE THEM!

He took the bike off the rack and discovered that the arm that stabilizes below the seat tube had worn the paint off of that area of the bike. That was a huge disappointment.

He works me really hard to keep up with him now.

Yes, this bike is so much lighter and he's much faster.

I have not had time to take the picture, but I will really soon! Yesterday was the first chance I had to ride any distance at all and I totally forgot about the picture.

The saddle is fantastic though!!! LOVE IT!

    updated with pics

    Mine with the Brooks.

DH's new Trek. He was not wild about the color, but did not have a choice since this was that last year for the Pilot 1.0. (you can see where the paint rubbed off in transit.)

That's funny- you can tell he's hot-rodding it already....he's in his big gear ring while you're in your middle gear ring. Tell him not to mash up hills too much or he'll blow out his knees! (just ask Mr. Silver).

    Gorgeous gleaming bikes!
