    Wetstuit/no wetsuit?

I have my big tri on Sunday. The water temp is 70 degrees so we are allowed wetsuits. It's a 1,000 meter swim. I was originally thinking I wouldn't wear one because it takes awhile to wriggle out of it. But, 1,000 meters is a good distance . . . . so maybe I should wear it? I should also mention I'm not a great swimmer--I'll be a mid-packer.

    Thanks!

If you've got one it sounds like you'd want to wear it.
I'd rather be swimming...biking...running...and eating cheesecake...

Unless you are OK with cold water... don't wear it.

If you are not, then wear it.

It won't take that long to get out of it. Just take it off immediately after exiting the water... before all the water drains out of it... and it will come off quickly.

    Good luck on Sunday!

Heck- I'd wear it. 1000m is far, and even if it only does the job of keeping you more comfortable for 15-20 min then it's worth it!
I vote for the wetsuit (but I'm a cold water weenie and wear one whenever legal).
