I just barely escaped! I was on the phone with Trek420, and she helped talk me down.... my size, my colors, but I just spent $120 on Ibex a couple days ago.

And I don't *need* another Ibex sweater. I have 2 already.

Oh, but the temptation remains. And Trek420 isn't on the phone with me any more.... hmm......

Hehehe! DH is the one to talk me into. Not that I needed my arm twisted or anything.

Which did you get? (or did you get both colors?)

The same thing came up earlier this afternoon (I posted in WoolWeenies). I guess they decided to put it back on a few hours later. Weird.

I liked both, but I only picked up the black/grey(pumice) one. I have to try to curb my spending since I need to pick up some panniers soon.

    Yes, I exercised similar restraint.

    Ibex Skyline

Thanks Dianyla. I'm looking forward to your review of the Skyline. I have a few other Ibex pieces that I really like. The norgie crew is great for running or biking. It breathes so well. I also have a shak pullover, but haven't had a chance to use it yet.

    More Ibex

    Ibex Pico Zip-T - $42.50

Unfortunately, I have to pass on this. I've spent too much for things I'll need this coming weekend. At least they were biking accessories. I really like the plum and I think the contrasting colors of the tonic and black is sexy.

    Ibex Skyline

    Hi,
Does anyone have any feedback or thoughts about their Ibex Skyline?

    Thanks

Whoops, sorry for not replying earlier! I forgot about this thread, so thanks for bumping it.

I've worn my skyline a few times in the past few weeks. It's not as thick/warm as I thought it would be. In fact, it's more like a thickish base layer or a plain shirt, rather than a sweater. I don't remember exactly how it was described on SteepandCheap.com (all I saw was IBEX!!! SALE!!! ) but I was expecting something warmer.

Also not sure about the thumbholes... this is the first garment I've ever worn with thumbholes.

I'm glad I bought a size Large, because it's slim fitting as well. I've found that Medium fits me best for the thicker sweaters, but Large for the base layers.

All those minor doubts aside, I love the way it fits. It makes me look long and lean, and I am far from being either of those things (I'm more short/dumpy). And of course, yummy woolly goodness.

    Skyline

Thanks Dianyla. I got a Shak full zip and love it. Sounds like its heavier than the Skyline. I'll probably get a second in another color.
