I've been wearing the same pair of Lake shoes when road riding since I got back into cycling in 2003. I got a good deal on them, and they fit great. No complaints here at all! Of course, every model of shoe is different.

I do hope I enjoy them. The only complaint I had about every shoe except the Pearl Izumi Vagabond was the tongue of the shoe hits where my ankle meets the leg on the front of my foot when I pedal forward. Hmm.
