I actually felt it! Normally I'm asleep and after living in SoCal I was used to not waking up. I was sitting at my desk and I felt it move back and forth for about 10-15 seconds but thought I was crazy because no one else said anything. I kept checking the USGS website but no luck...ran some errands came back and the info was there.

I'm about 5 hours away from the city that got hit the hardest. The shaking wasn't too bad here, but I was actually excited about it. Not that they cause devistation but my studies in school were geology and I worked for the Southern California Earthquake Center in college so I always like to feel them then go and read up on them.

    Thanks for asking though!
