Has anyone tried these shorts? How do you like them? I just ordered a pair on mad sale at Nashbar last night and am looking forward to trying them out. How is the chamois? The fit (true to size)?
Thanks!

Yes, I have them and they are my favorite shorts this year! The chamois is awesome and is strategically designed with varying amounts of thicknesses for different positions on the saddle. I bought just one but I'm thinking of picking up another pair. I ordered it from Campmor. I think they had the best price. Check REI too.
As for size, all I can say is spandex is very forgiving.![]()
I also just bought a pair from the Nashbar sale yesterday. I have PI Short attack ,and they fit good. I wear a small. Unlike some of the other girls on this site...I like the larger padding.
I've got two pairs of this short (found both on big sales). Fit is pretty true to size, and is certainly consistent with other PI shorts.
The chamois is very substantial, but I haven't had any problems with chafing after the first two washes (it's quite stiff before washing/wearing but softens up considerably). It's comfortable on long rides (and short ones, for that matter).
The fabric is pretty light & wicking, and the length is perfect for me -- short enough to be cool but long enough that it doesn't show the **less firm** parts of my thighs. Fit is nice overall, very comfortable and fairly flattering actually. Comes up super high in back (as Pearl shorts often do) -- and it seems to be getting higher and higher as I continue to wear/wash them. This is a little odd but not a problem for me. The tummy is sort of mid-cut -- scoops a bit but not too much.
It's good for long rides and hot weather. I'm quite happy with the pairs I have, though I don't love it SO much that I felt the need to get another pair at Nashbar's short sale earier this week (I think it was like, $49 down from $99) -- I'd rather try something new.
