    new car!!

I am very excited. I LOVEEEEEEEE Subarus and had a wonderful sedan which has been so faithful and trustworthy, sadly the sedan didnt allow for storage and there was no where for my poor little bike.

Soooooo.... yesterday I upgraded and got the same car, but in a wagon!!

now I can put the bike in the back and off I go!

I also have the same car, in blue.

Actually, I have a 2005 Impreza RS. Not too many of those running around. So I should say I have a *similar* car. My Subie-dudes like her.

(my very first car was a 1969 Saab 9-6, with the grille the newer Subies' grille was modelled after. So I feel real special...)

Have you found the Ultimate Subaru Message Board? I was a member for years.

Congraulations! Looks nice. And the bike fits in the back? What mileage does it get? We're looking to downsize soon. Our VW Eurovan is getting old and overly thirsty. We'd still like something 4WD for wintry roads. Maybe we should take a test drive in one like yours ...
Half-marathon over. Sabbatical year over. It's back to "sacking shirt and oat cakes" as they say here.

Duck - mine is older than Ash's, and I get 28-32 mpg. When it was brand new I got 36 mpg. (that was pretty exciting!)

My bike fits in the back if I take the front wheel off. I have a Thule rack for times I need to carry more than one bike.
