    For Mimitabby

Here's the John Deere Racer in its new clothes. We rebuilt the rear hub today. When I get the d-cables tomorrow, we'll reinstall the drive train. Unfortunately, there have been some hard knocks already and it has a scratch on the head tube. Will doesn't seem to mind. That's the original badge there on the front.

I think it's an excellent first effort at painting something so complicated. He has yellow side walls on the new tires, yellow bar tape, etc. It's going to be quite a thing.

My Frankenstein bike is painted "John Deere" green also. Your's is definitely much nicer looking than mine.

I read the responses to Will and he said, "Everyone has a price. Make me an offer!"

Great paint job. Wow, haven't seen a 3-armed spider steel crankset in a long time. What kind of shape were the hubs and bb in?
