Talking I just got a Specialized Ruby Comp!!!

    Hi Everyone!
This is my first post here....although I have been reading posts for weeks. I just bought a new bike...its the blue Specialized Ruby comp in my avatar. It felt really good on the test ride, so I hope it will keep me satisfied for awhile! Does anyone else have experience with this bike? How are the wheels? I kinda want to upgrade them to a more racing style wheel (with few spokes...I love that look!). My bike wont be in until monday, they had to order it from a different store...I can't wait!! I was also looking at the specialized roubaix...but decided the women specific features would be beneficial. Any imput on this bike welcomed and appreciated! Good and the bad, this way I know what upgrades to do!!

    YAY FOR NEW BIKES!!!!!!

Congratulations. I'm sorry I can't comment on the specifics of the bike, but as far as I'm aware, the Specialized Ruby line is a good one. I almost got one, I think either the Expert or Pro. but got an amazing deal on a Cannondale CAAD9 instead (sweet bike!). A friend of mine has the Expert and loves it.

Have fun and ride it a lot. Oh! And post pictures, of course!

Congrats! I can't comment on the Ruby, as I don't have one, but everyone on this forum who does have one seems to love it. You might try doing a search on Specialized Ruby, or just Ruby. You will find a LOT of stuff on these forums written about them!

    Again, welcome, and congrats!

I have the Ruby Pro. I absolutely love it. The wheels on the pro are an upgrade from the comp. My husband says the wheels are are really make the bike. So if you want to upgrade anything, the wheels would probably be best.

Lots of luck with your new ride and sending many happy and safe riding miles your way!!!
