who this might be?

I was checking out a race course today in the mountains above Salt Lake City when I noticed a girl standing next to a pair of bikes at a convenience store. The bikes were loaded to the hilt with travel gear. So I stopped and asked her where she was headed. She didn't tell me her final destination, but told me she and her partner (boyfriend/DH?) had come from Washington about three weeks ago. They were heading east doing a cross county bike tour. She said they were going to be spending the night near one of the local reservoirs. She still had quite a way to go and a big climb from where they were at.
I finished scoping out the course and was headed home when I saw them heading up the canyon. He was on a recumbent with a trailer, and she was on a road bike. They probably still had 2-3 hours to go to get to where they were headed for the night. I really hope they make it before dark.

Anyway, anyone from Washington happen to know who this might be?

I have to admire their dedication--cross country--WOW!!
