Does anyone have this short? I'm debating adding it to my collection, but the price is making me a bit tentative. Any reviews are appreciatedIt would be my first Terry apparel purchase...

I have never tried the T short, but I have this year's Bella short, which has the same chamois as the T-short (the pink "flex air" chamois). I like the chamois very much. After the first wash, it's super flexible yet very protective (when you first try it on, before washing, it might feel a tad stiff or bulky, but this goes away once you wash it).
You might consider the Bella too if you are considering the T-Short. It's just $10 more. The T-Short is made of Dryline, which I think gets a little hot when it is hot out, while the Bella is made from a lighter (but more compressive) fabric. Also the Bella's waistband is really comfortable -- very wide elastic in the back, and no elastic in the front, just a lycra yoke.
Good luck!
Does Bella make a longer length short like the T-Short? I have 'short' shorts, but I like the idea of a little more thigh coverage...I'll look into Bella, though, thanks!
Hi Bessy,
the Bella short I was referring to is a model of Terry short (the Terry Bella-- sorry for not being clearer about that). Thus the shorts having the exact same chamois.
The Terry Bella short has a longer-length inseam, I think it's around 8 or 8.5 inchees... Not sure how this compares with the long T short though...
Edit: I also wanted to add this -- although I haven't had a lot of Terry items, (just the Bella short and a pair of knickers that were a little too big for me) -- in my experience they are cut and finished very well.

I tried the long T-short and like it. As my PI wear out, I'm replacing them with the T.
The fabric is a little thick, but it has a nice soft feel. Initially I found the chamois a bit much, but, as liza said, after you wash it a few times, it softens up very nicely.
I guess I don't find the fabric too warm, but it hasn't been that hot here yet. For me, sunscreens can also be oppressive so 4" more of fabric or 4" more of glue-y suncreen....its a toss-up.
The only down-side is that most casual shorts will sit on your legs now 4" above the Long T-Short tan line. But, despite massive amounts of sunscreen, I have also have a tan line at my wrists and the middle of my fingers. So now I have a visible one on my legs, too. It is just part of the cycling obsession, I guess![]()
