PICTURES! PICTURES! PICTURES! She's finally unveiled!

TAH DAH!!! Here are the long anticipated pictures of my new Baby. That's what I call her. Baby. She's a Cannondale CAAD 9 with Dura Ace components and PINK stuff on her! She weighed 16.60 at the bike shop with what was probably a slightly lighter saddle, no saddle bag or bottle cages. I'm sure she's still under 17, though. She's SO nice to ride and so PURDY too!!!

Here she is hanging in the "bike closet" next to DH's Cannondale SystemSIX. His and Hers!

And then there's the tandem and DH's new MTB, also hanging out.

And we can't leave out the kids. They have to have their bikes, too! So, that's 6 bikes total, unless you cout the tandem as 1 1/2, then it's 6 1/2!

And here I am, sitting at my computer on the Team Estrogen site! (It just so happens! DH was testing the camera on me, so I thought I'd throw it in there!)

Hope you enjoyed the pics of our "bike family"! Especially the PINK one!!!

I have that saddle on both mtbikes...it is hard and took a few rides to break it in! Not sure if I would like it on the roadie...I have a Terry Zero on the roadie and love it!!!

I also use a Butterfly on my commuter which I love as well....the Butterfly used to be on a mtbike but I could not get my tush off the back of the seat (Butterfly is much wider than the Damselfly) which is why I switched...I now can scoootch way back and tackle those steep declines on the mtb.

    ***can you tell I am a Terry-saddle-lover???

All tushies are different which makes the shopping hard...I just stuck with a brand I liked and have had good luck! hehe...and they have PINK!

ooops...Love the new addition...and the bike family!!! Looks like you all have a blast!

oooooooooo- what a beauty (your new bike)!!!! She's sooooo pretty!
I'm so glad you posted pictures of her- she's really nice!!!!
It was great to see all the other pics, too!

You're like us- more bikes than people in our house. Only 2 people and six bikes (mtn, road and tri each). We bike people are a mess.

    Congrats on your latest addition!

Jiffer your new bike looks like a gem. Is your mountain bike and tandem really the same color as shown in the pics? The bikes look pretty content in their clean storage area too.

GREAT!!! I love all the pictures. So many lovely bikes. And I love your new one. I wasn't sure how the pink would look, but it's very classy!

Nice fleet of bikes there!!! Have fun! I like the pink, black and silver as well. Good choice! Ditto on saddle feedback - let me know what you think of it.

I could only get the pics of your bike to appear, the rest I couldn't open so I will comment on your new bike. How nice the pink accent pieces look with that black and grey! And light too, wow. 17#s! Nice bike.

Thanks for all the comments. I'll reply to some of the questions.

    COSC
    - Yes, the tandem and MTB are the same color, red. The MTB is DH's.

SHEESHThe bike closet was part of the over all custom cabinetry that was installed by a closet company. I think Closet Factory. DH made sure there was a closet just right for his bike. Luckily it fits mine too! He's going to put hooks on the inside of the doors to hang jackets.

CINNAMON TOAST and BIKERJEN The saddle ... I'm PRETTY sure I like it. Still getting a feel for it. It's the Damselfly. I also tried the Falcon X and did NOT like that one. It's cushier, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it just hurt my sit bones. I think it's the size, which is surprising to me since I'm not a teeny sit bone person. At least I don't think! I know I have child bearing hips, so I figure wide sit bones come with!

I don't necessarily want such a hard seat, so I may try something else at some point. I have 90 days (from a couple of weeks ago) to try it and I can send it back if I decide it's not working. It's been fine so far, but I don't know if I'll be hating it on longer rides. I've gone 25 miles so far on it, but plan to do a century on it eventually.

I think I'd hate that saddle on the tandem. Too much sitting down time. We rode the tandem yesterday and I was appreciating my Selle Trans Am (Same as Gel Flo). Completely different seat, but works better for the tandem. I do want to try it on the single, just to seee what it's like.

I think I answered everyone's questions. Thanks again for all the kudos on my new Baby! (And, by the way, Happy Birthday to me! Today's my birthday!)

I can't get those pix to load for me here (connected at the moment at 16.8kbps)
I'll have to look at them on Monday at work (am in an off-campus meeting all day today)

Looking forward to it Jiffer - Baby sure sounds purty
