Trying a Tri - seriously, how many more puns can you take?

So it's been awhile since I posted here. But I decided to sign up for a sprint triathlon on August 19th! I am on week 4 of training now (out of a total of 12 weeks- I started at the perfect time out). Things are going pretty well- been a little busier than I would like, but still managing to get in enough training; I always feel as though I could do more, though I know I don't want to overtrain. I sucked it up and got clipless pedals and shoes yesterday too. I'd really prefer to use them for the race, so now I've got two months to get used to them. I am currently getting some tri-related workout in every day, some days, I train two different sports. A minimum of twice a week for all, though with biking, I try to get out as much as possible. The last couple weeks have been busy and I can only ride in the evening and on weekends, but after this week, I'll have even more free time. Just thought I'd post

Sounds like you've got your bases covered. Just keep it up. Practice your transitions and get used to running short distances off the bike.

Have fun and ask questions. There's lots of great advisors on the board.
